“There are so many of us that are fighting silent wars”

We need more public figures opening up in a real and raw way…folks you would not expect to open up. Folks like this – who is usually dawning a large smile, like the one on the second slide➡️.

Mistah F.A.B. @fabbydavisjr1, a popular rapper is also an accredited multi-platinum songwriter and record producer, who has collaborated with major acts such as Snoop Dogg, Too $hort, E-40, B.o.B, Chris Brown, and Eric Bellinger.

He quickly become a central figure of the hyphy movement, a musical and cultural offshoot of hip-hop from the Bay Area that carries a bass-heavy beat, blaring synthesizers and an emphasis on having fun.

Recently he was sitting down for an interview on his music work specially, and started crying, and ASKED if we could open up about his mental health battles. Unlike other celeb shares, he was RAW, talked about his STUFF, & this was impromptu – not part of any planned talk or endorsement deal. In the interview he talked about:

Growing up having to live couch to couch…jumping from drug to drug. The world feeling like walls were closing on in on him. He would get really hot.  He’s had periods afraid to leave his house. The pressures of living up to what he’s “supposed” to live up to have been immense. He’s driven around & needed to stop and get someone to pick him up. He now wants to use his platform to encourage others to get help.

He added “We are all fighting wars. Many of us silent wars.” Yes we are ALL fighting something.
