The barbershop in east London’s Shoreditch is called “Deload” and will be open from July 12th to the 17th as this first run.
Gymshark (an athletic apparel company) is due to open its first physical store this year. Barbers from Curfew Grooming will be trimming for free across the week and Gymshark will be selling exclusive Gymshark Deload barbershop merchandise, the proceeds of which will go to mental health charities.
We need more spaces like this (and not just temporary ones, but permanent ones) where it feels safe to talk. This one is for men – but we can get creative with other ways to get folks from all demographic groups to open up, bc this topic applies to all of us!
