This month I/we have been getting more & more vocal about the “5 in 5” stat bc the “1 in 5” literally does nothing for our society as far as proactive mental health. 1 in 5 – you still feel alone & in the minority, but 5 in 5 (the reality) gets everyone paying attention. Normalizes the convo. If we are all impacted & susceptible, all 1 in 5 does, is make us reactive, & makes most of society tune this topic out.
